Who Am I? 

After living this lifestyle for about 2 decades, I have learned so much about living a plant-based lifestyle and how to make it work with a family and a busy life. I want to help you so your journey isn't as hard as mine was in the beginning. I started my journey in 2003, before it was popular and not very supported. 

I founded Love the Green Life with the mission to help real people attain their goals and dreams of living a compassionate life that is better for them, their families, and the environment. My love and passion for all animals is my driving force behind what I do. I truly want to change the world! Are you ready to join me?

Real Results

I was all in because my blood pressure was through the roof and it really motivated me. I have a long line of heart health problems with my parents and my family. Changing to a plant based lifestyle has helped in SO MANY ways. I have SO MUCH ENDURANCE. I just ran a race and placed 4th in my age group out of 825 people- I have always been a runner, but have never

had this much stamina or energy. Since completely changing my eating, my blood pressure is normal and I have less anxiety.

Before I was terrified to eat carbs in fear of gaining weight, so I would eat eggs, bacon, cheese, chicken, etc (unhealthy Keto diet!), now I eat all carbs and I dropped 7 lbs in 30 days. I truly think I have an allergy to dairy and animal products. I think a lot of people do and don't realize it. I am also trying to also change my families habits (baby steps) and feeling more passionate about animal rights and learning more now. 

Jess is the best at making you really think about why you are eating the things you are- for me it was almost all habit. I have not cheated when it come to the this program. No dairy- meaning no sweets, cakes, etc.--nothing containing dairy. I now have some good dairy free options for my sweet tooth!

I have always been into nutrition and fitness my whole life. I was a body builder, fire fighter and EMT in my early adult years and still walk 2+ miles a day. I eat all organic, no artificial ingredients and always thought I was healthy because I chose mostly chicken for my meat choice (the healthier meat as people think). After learning more about what is in meat (even fish and chicken) and dairy and how it affects the body and what it does to the body, I decided to eliminate it.

Jess has helped me learn what to eat to keep my protein, vitamin and mineral intake up. She has shown me what foods to eat, how to prepare them to make meals and how flavorful it is to eat this way.

The best part is after a few months, I went to the cardiologist for my yearly check up. I was leery of telling him I started this lifestyle change as I didn't know how he would react. He was so excited when I said plant based. He said there is no medicine I can give you that is better than that diet! He also said I am going to cut your high blood pressure medicine in half and next time I see you remove it completely! I was in tears. What a great visit and what a great outcome, just by changing what I eat!!

Plant Power is designed to help you create the foundation you need to achieve optimal health and lifestyle change. I've spent years of trial and error to eliminate the guesswork for you. With my expertise and guidance, results are easy to understand and achieve.

Can you guarantee results?

My main focus is to help you achieve your health and lifestyle goals, but I can’t promise that will happen. The reason? It’s not because of the process; the process works. But the process only works if the individual following the process puts in the work. What you put into this program is what you get out of it. I will give you 100% of me as a coach throughout these 13 weeks, but I’m not responsible for what you get out of this program, that is up to you. To get the most out of this program you need to show up, and you need to give me your 100%, because at the end of the day, the results you achieve are completely up to you.

What makes this program different to other coaching programs?

There are a lot of health coaching programs out there that offer advice on lifestyle and nutrition changes. However, after spending almost 2 decades navigating this lifestyle for myself and helping others make healthy changes. I have real life experience as well as education to back it up. My background as a teacher also helps with the planning and delivery of this program. Each module has action steps as well as resources to help you stay on track and see long lasting results.

I'm into this and this seems like a great program, but my significant other isn't on board yet - how can we solve this?

I would invite you to book a complimentary consultation with me and they can also be present during this call. This allows all of us to be transparent as possible while you make a powerful decision for the future of your life and we want to make sure it’s something that your partner supports.


How much of a time commitment is required to complete the program?

Each week you will have a module to watch. The length varies, but the majority are around 20 minutes, give or take. Each module has action steps for you to complete throughout the week during your everyday, busy life. Every Friday I will do a coaching call in the Plant Power private Facebook Group, where you will submit questions and I will answer them for you. If you are live, you can ask questions there. During these calls I will also give you advice on what changes to make to your lifestyle - including diet, exercise, sleep, mindset, etc. It is then your job to implement these changes into your daily routine. The timing of when you complete each module is totally up to you and your schedule. You have ongoing access to this video course, which means you are not required to finish it within the 13 weeks, but it is encouraged for optimal results that you stay on track.
